Shown here in rich mahogany sapele, this large and spacious bookcase is designed predominantly for period homes and interiors.

Its traditional construction incorporates an ornate handmade cornice, fluted trim and a sophisticated skirted base.

Tradition, however, does not exclude practicality: the four highest shelves can be adjusted both upwards and downwards to offer multiple storage options, each finished off with solid brass shelf supports and sleeves.

This design works just as successfully in three quarter or half height versions - the latter with a solid top for additional storage and display. These are priced accordingly.

Whatever the size you choose, this bookcase would look equally stunning in European oak or American black walnut.
