It looks equally impressive as a six, eight, 10 or 12 seater - elegant and attractive when closed, grand and stately when fully extended to accommodate 12 dinner guests.

The pierced legs and curved apron helps to lighten the overall look of what otherwise could be an imposing piece of furniture.

The dining table incorporates a traditional extending mechanism, which telescopes out and under the table to provide a solid, stable base for the leaves. The leaves are locked in place with discreet wooden pins.

Images six and seven feature the Riley Dining Chair which can be commissioned separately or in addition to the dining table.

The entire set shown is handcrafted from cherry but would similarly striking in French Oak or American Walnut.
